The Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps says some hoodlums are terrorising residents of Alapa in Asa Native Authorities Space of Kwara.
That is contained in a press release issued by the Kwara Command’s Spokesman, Mr Babawale Afolabi, and made accessible to the Information Company of Nigeria on Monday in Ilorin.
In response to the NSCDC spokesman, two of the armed robbers had been caught by the native vigilante, whereas others escaped.
Afolabi mentioned that there had been stories of the nefarious actions of armed robbers in some communities at Alapa city.
“The suspected robbers had been keen on going round with harmful weapons, attacking harmless folks and dispossessing them of their belongings.
“Considered one of such assaults befell on Oct. 9, at evening, when some folks had been attacked with machetes and different harmful weapons by the hoodlums.
“They made away with some cash and different valuables, belonging to their victims,” Afolabi mentioned.
The spokesman mentioned that the 2 armed robbers that had been caught by the native vigilante had been handed over to the NSCDC operatives at Alapa Divisional Workplace for needed motion.
