NJC recommends 46 judicial officers for appointment

The Nationwide Judicial Council has really useful the appointment of 46 judicial officers as a part of the efforts to beef up the judiciary in preparation for the 2023 election litigations.

The profitable candidates had been offered for NJC’s consideration by its interview committee throughout its 98th assembly in Abuja.

The NJC, in a press release issued by its Director of Info, Soji Oye, on Thursday indicated that the profitable candidates are really useful for appointment as heads of courtroom and different judicial officers for federal and state judiciaries in Nigeria.

The really useful heads of courtroom are Justice Chukwuemeka-Chikeka  Eberechukwu as Chief Decide for Imo State, Kadi Agwai II as Grand Kadi, Sharia Courtroom of Attraction, Nasarawa State, and Justice Okorie Uchenna as President, Customary Courtroom of Attraction for Imo State.

Three judges had been really useful for Benue State, they’re Felicia Ikyegh, Omale Anebi and Shishi Mkoholga.

Jigawa has two; they’re Auwal Ya’u and Mustapha Adamu. Delta State has three that are Diai Dumebi, Odebale  Baro and Gesikeme-Akebofah  Mary.

4 candidates, Ladi Madaki, Longden Jacob, Elizabeth Angai and Samchi Simon had been really useful for Plateau State  whereas and Hassan Kuwwa, Shamsudeen Jaafar and Maryam Kaoje had been really useful for Kebbi State.

The 4 candidates really useful as judges for Adamawa State are Ishaku Haliru, Felix Nzarga, Abbas Hoban and Maxwell Pukuma.

Equally, the three really useful for Kogi State had been Clement Kekere, Hawa Yusufu and Isa Abdullahi, whereas the six for Imo State are Okereke Ngozi,  Onyekachi Chibueze, Antoinette Onyeukwu, Harmless Ibeawuchi, Alinnor Leo and Nwachukwu Emmanuel.

The Kadi really useful for the Sharia Courtroom of Attraction in Plateau is Yahaya Kanam, whereas that of Kebbi is Nasiru  Zaggan. The 2 for Adamawa State are Magaji Chiroma and Ibrahim Barkindo.
